The Geeky Ballerina Intermediate Curriculum is designed for dancers ages 11 and up who have completed the elementary levels. This curriculum focuses on refining key principles like body directions and turnout, increasing dancers' ballet vocabulary, and also preparing dancers to begin and succeed in pointe work. Dancers in the intermediate levels should already be strong enough to hold their pelvis placement, correctly engage the muscles around their knees, and be able to perfom clean single pirouettes en dedans and en dehors from 5th position.
