Create moments of magic

Your systematic guide to teaching joyful artistry in ballet

Discover how to build expressive skills just as intentionally as you develop technique. Drawing from decades of classroom experience and research, I've crafted a comprehensive framework that makes teaching artistry feel as natural as teaching pirouettes—while enhancing each student's unique artistic voice.

In this first volume, you'll learn in-depth approaches for:

  • Teaching breath and somatic awareness to develop students' internal understanding of movement

  • Simple activities to help your dancers build confidence in their unique artistic voice

  • Building a sophisticated sense of line that comes from true body awareness rather than mimicry

  • Developing musicality that transforms technical exercises into artistic expression

Each element is broken down into clear progressions for different ages and levels, with specific activities and proven teaching strategies drawn from real classroom success.
